How do I tell you my colour?
Fastest way: use the form at the top of this page — type the colour, and it is attached to your order before you reach the checkout. Or email hello@10millionshades.com with the colour — a description, a HEX code, a photo or a swatch attached, or all four. Put your order number in if you already have one. We reply with what we read from it before anything is blended.
Can I type my shade on the product page?
You can type it right here — the form at the top of this page puts your colour on the order itself, so it arrives with the shade instead of after it. Our store builds every order by hand, shade by shade, and we would rather ask you a question than guess at your face, so if a description is unclear we will come back to you before anything is blended. If you would rather write it out somewhere else, send it to orders@10millionshades.com.
I already ordered — will you still make it?
Yes. Email us the order number that came with your confirmation and the colour you want. Nothing goes into blending until we have your shade, so we will wait for you rather than send you a random colour.
Will my shade come back the same every time?
Yes. Your exact recipe is written down and locked in our shade vault — pigment by pigment, by weight. Reorder months later and it is precisely the colour you designed. One shade you love beats forty you tolerate.
What if I only have a photo in bad lighting?
Send it anyway and tell us what the light was like. Photos are a starting point, not a verdict — we will tell you what we can and cannot read from it, and what we would need to see instead.
How long does it take?
Every shade is blended small-batch for the person who asked for it — never pulled off a shelf. We confirm your shade by email first, then it is made and shipped through the store. If you have a date you need it by, say so in the same email and we will tell you honestly whether it is possible.
Can you match a discontinued shade I still miss?
That is the single most common reason people come to us. Send the name, a photo of the bullet, or the one you are scraping out of the bottom of the tube — that is a shade we can match.

Made to order is the whole point. Your custom lipstick is blended for your face and shipped to you — it never sits in a warehouse waiting for a trend that already passed. That is the difference between the one shade you actually chose and forty you would have tolerated.
